Important information
All of the FSW Psychology team have years of experience in assessing complex young people and adults. They are all trained in recognised, standardised assessment tools, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO); in fact both Freya and Una were trained by Dr Judith Gould, the lead Consultant at the Lorna Wing Centre for Autism.
All assessments completed by FSW Psychology are compliant with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines and follow the stringent criteria set out in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual: 5th Edition (DSM-5) to ensure a robust diagnosis.
All FSW Psychology clinicians are registered members of their profession’s regulatory body.
All assessments, whether a diagnosis is given or not, receive a thorough report including detailed recommendations.
If additional appointments are required to complete the assessment, this does not come at any extra cost.
